Slade Point is on the coast of Mackay. It’s a rocky point with water holes, surrounded by magnificent sandy beaches. I have lots of favourite places but this place has to be one of the best. The Slade Point Lookout is well known for a perfect spot to watch whales as they travel up and down the coast. As this painting extends along the edges, there isn’t a need for it to be framed.
